Casio officially launches three new GA-2100 camo edition watches with Carbon Core Guard

Casio's GA-2100 series, which is characterized by its octagonal bezel and hybrid analog-digital display, is now officially receiving three new colorways: sand (GA-2100CM-5), grey (GA-2100CM-8), and a third variant using reddish tones (GA-2100CMD). There is metallic print on the resin components as well. This manufacturing process renders a multi-layered camouflage effect that includes the brand identifier - the G-mark - integrated directly into the pattern. While previous iterations of the GA-2100 used molded color resin or standard pad printing, the use of metallic detailing on these models is intended to provide a higher degree of visual depth compared to standard variants.
The internal architecture of these watches is still unchanged. The watches use Casio’s Carbon Core Guard structure, which uses a carbon-fiber-reinforced resin case to achieve a total thickness of 11.8 mm. This construction is intended to protect the module against impact and vibration while maintaining a weight-to-strength ratio suitable for daily use. The dial features a day-of-the-week sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position and a small digital LCD for secondary functions. The camo design is applied across the dial face and bezel, which may affect the legibility of the indices compared to high-contrast, non-patterned models in the same series.
At £109 (~$150), these watches lack the Tough Solar charging and Bluetooth Link connectivity found in the more expensive GA-B2100 series. Per the manufacturer's schedule, the official retail launch will take place on February 19 via the Casio webstore and authorized retailers. Please note: the watches were listed on Zumiez ahead of their official launch - read more about that here.
