Casio launches new affordable Tank-style MTP-B190 watches with 50 m water resistance

Casio has listed four new analog models under the MTP-B190 lineup for a March 2026 release. The series includes the MTP-B190L-7BV, MTP-B190RGL-9BV, MTP-B190SG-9BV, and MTP-B190G-9BV. All four watches share the same stainless steel rectangular case measuring 41 × 31.5 × 8.1 mm. The leather strap variants weigh 43 g, while the stainless steel bracelet versions weigh 98 g. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters across the lineup.
The MTP-B190L-7BV comes with a genuine leather band and a silver-tone case. The MTP-B190RGL-9BV features a pink gold ion-plated case paired with a brown leather strap. For bracelet options, the MTP-B190SG-9BV uses a stainless steel band with gold ion plating and a one-touch three-fold clasp. The MTP-B190G-9BV has both a gold ion-plated case and band.
All models use mineral spherical glass and are powered by an SR626SW battery rated for approximately three years. Accuracy is specified at ±20 seconds per month. The watches come equipped with standard three-hand analog timekeeping for hours, minutes, and seconds.
With its rectangular case and Roman numeral dial, the MTP-B190 series looks to be inspired by the classic "Tank-style" dress watch format - this design was made famous by early 20th-century rectangular watches. Casio has tagged all four references as new, with availability listed for March 2026. Pricing has not yet been detailed on the international pages at the time of writing.
