PlayStation brings back 30th Anniversary Collection in select regions

Last year, PlayStation celebrated its 30th anniversary by releasing limited edition variants of its consoles and accessories. Dubbed the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, it included limited edition variants of the PS5 (digital and disc), PS5 Pro, PlayStation Portal, and DualSense Controller. If you couldn't get your hands on it back then due to scalpers, PlayStation has announced that some of the products in the collection will be available later this year.

Multiple announcements from the X accounts of various PlayStation regions have announced that the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Console Bundle (console and controller), the 30th Anniversary DualSense Wireless Controller, and the 30th Anniversary PlayStation Portal will be available in limited stock in September. So far, the confirmed regions where the 30th anniversary products will be available are Canada, France, Japan, Ireland, Italy, and the UK.

According to PlayStation Canada, the 30th anniversary edition items will be available to pre-order at select retailers at 10 AM on July 23 while the launch date is on September 9. PlayStation France and PlayStation Italy have announced that pre-orders will also begin at 10 AM on July 23 exclusively on direct.playstation.com. However, PlayStation Plus members will have early access to pre-orders on July 21 at 10 AM. The release date is also revealed to be September 29.

For those in Ireland, pre-orders also open at 10 AM IST on July 23 exclusively at Smyths Toys while the release date is also September 29. Those in the UK will also be able to pre-order at 10 AM BST on July 23 (July 21 for PlayStation Plus members) on direct.playstation.com. The launch date is the same as that of Ireland. In Japan, the pre-order date is the same as other regions but the release date is September 9.

Details about pricing weren't revealed by any of the accounts, but it is expected that the prices should remain the same as the standard editions of the PS5 Digital Edition (available on Amazon for $449), DualSense Wireless Controller, and PS Portal .
