PlayStation Plus May 2026 officially announced with 3 new games coming to PS Plus

Sony has expanded its PlayStation Plus Monthly Games with a new roster for May 2026. To recap, the company announced new titles for Extra and Premium subscribers only a fortnight ago. While those were leaked ahead of time by billbil_kun, no leakers managed to get ahead of Sony this time around.
First up is EA Sports FC 26 (curr. $42 on Amazon), the third instalment in the franchise since EA and FIFA parted ways after FIFA 23. Still the most popular football game around, EA Sports FC 26 maintains a 77/100 Metascore average with critics for its PS5 release. However, the game is particularly unpopular with players, achieving 2.9/10 on the same review aggregator and a Mixed Steam rating.
By contrast, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers averages Mostly Positive on Steam and 6.9/100 from users on Metacritic. Similarly, the action RPG scores 74/100 on the latter website from critics. Sony has also added Nine Sols to this month's Monthly Games package, which is the highest-rated of the bunch with an 86/100 average on Metacritic and an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam.
The 2D platformer will be available to claim on PS4 and PS5 between May 5 and June 1, as will EA Sports FC 26. Meanwhile, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers can only be played on a PS5. All three games will be open to Essential, Extra and Premium subscribers. Please see the PlayStation Blog for more details.
