Sony announces PS Plus free games for July 2026

Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for July 2026. As always, subscribers will be able to claim a fresh batch of titles at no extra cost and keep them in their library for as long as they maintain an active PS Plus subscription. This month's lineup offers a good mix of action, RPG, and co-op gameplay, giving players plenty of different experiences to enjoy across both PS5 and PS4.

PlayStation Plus free games for July 2026

Leading this month's lineup is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (PS5, PS4), one of the biggest releases in the series. The game continues the story after Modern Warfare II, with Captain Price and Task Force 141 taking on Vladimir Makarov as he launches a new global threat. The package includes a full single-player campaign, competitive multiplayer, and a large-scale Zombies mode.

Next is For the King II (PS5, PS4), which is a strategy RPG that focuses heavily on teamwork and planning. Players can either adventure alone or form a party of up to four players to explore the kingdom of Fahrul. The story follows Queen Rosomon, whose rule has turned the once-peaceful kingdom into a dangerous place. Your goal is to gather allies, battle powerful enemies, and stop her growing army.

The third game in the lineup is CrossCode (PS5, PS4), a retro-inspired action RPG that combines classic pixel-art visuals with modern gameplay systems. Alongside the action, the game also features dungeon puzzles that require careful thinking and exploration. As you progress, you'll collect new equipment, unlock skills, and customize your character to match your preferred playstyle. The game also tells a sci-fi story that unfolds as you continue your journey.

Sony has confirmed that all three games will be available to claim for PlayStation Plus Premium, Extra, and Essential members from July 7 until August 3. In the meantime, make sure to claim June 2026's free games before they are gone.
