The reliable leaker billbil-kun has posted some details about the upcoming PlayStation 5 revision, which is currently widely known as the “PS5 Slim” despite Sony not giving it an official name yet. According to the source, a PS5 Slim bundle will be launched on November 8, with the bundle featuring the console and a copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The non-bundled standard and digital PS5 Slim consoles will purportedly be launched in Japan and the US a couple of days later, on November 10.

The tipster states that the PS5 Slim bundle will retail at US$559.99 and will feature the version of the console that already has a disc drive. Gamers will likely be happy about the selection of the game included in this particular bundle, as the recently released Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been receiving rave reviews for multiple aspects, such as its story, its varied gameplay that ranges from puzzle-solving to fight scenes, and its stunning visuals. Fortunately, the PS5 Slim comes with a slightly larger SSD than its older sibling (1 TB vs. 825 GB).

While there have already been multiple attempts at comparing this second-generation PS5 with the original PS5, a recent AR-enhanced video has turned up that really shows just how much Sony has managed to trim off the console for this latest variant.
