If you’re in the market for a new smartphone for under PHP 10,000 then the OPPO A57 is a great choice. It looks and feels premium compared to other models within the same price range. At the same time, it has a big battery. While the camera could be better at night or in dark places, it is great in well-lit environments. The only downside would be playing games. Graphic intensive titles have a hard time with the phone, and there is noticeable lag too. All in all, I think the Oppo A57 is a great phone if you’re looking to get a new unit. If you do need more space, OPPO says storage is expandable up to 1TB.

The Oppo A57 was announced in April 2022 and the phone attained a rough price figure of $215 (Rs 16,900 in India) approx. It brings a 6.56-inches IPS LCD panel that renders a 90 Hz refresh rate and 600 nits HBM brightness. Following this, you will also receive an 8MP front camera for selfies, while on the other hand, the back panel offers a dual-camera module. It includes a 13MP primary and a 2MP depth lens. With this setup, you can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. For storage, the device is available in 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variants alongside an SD card slot. As for the performance end, the smartphone equips a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset that goes up to a 2.4GHz clocking speed and supports 5G connectivity. The Phone runs on the latest Android 12 OS supported by ColorOS 12.1 user interface customization. The Oppo A57 provides a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery without any fast charging support. Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
