New OnePlus Ace 3 Pro leak suggests it will be a redesigned flagship

Rumors about the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro have been circulating since the launch of the non-Pro phone, also known as the OnePlus 12R (16/256 GB curr. $529.99 on Amazon) in the international markets. Previously, a fairly reputed Weibo tipster called Smart Pickachu shared that the Android smartphone was being tested with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the current flagship SoC from Qualcomm.

Now, another reputed Weibo tipster called Digital Chat Station has shared details on the Ace 3 Pro. The new report on the phone also claims that the phone will be featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which would make it a proper flagship device and more powerful than the recently launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 smartphones.

Moreover, like Smart Pikachu shared, the new report also hints at the phone featuring a curved screen. But with this new leak, we got the possible resolution of the display, which could be 1.5K. Digital Chat Station has also talked about the build of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro.

It will reportedly come with a metal mid-frame with a new coating. The back will seemingly feature a textured glass panel, which could be similar to the one found on the OnePlus 10T. What’s more interesting is that the latest leak suggests that the phone will be getting a makeover.

We recently had a leak on the OnePlus 13 that hinted the phone will not be sporting the circular camera design the company has been sticking to. It seems the upcoming Ace 3 Pro will also be doing the same. What will possibly not change from the non-Pro model, however, is the main camera on the back.

Digital Chat Station reports that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will sport the same 50 MP IMX890 primary camera on the rear. But the phone could have a 2X optical zoom/telephoto lens. Besides that, the tipster has shared that the phone could come with a “very big” battery, which is interesting as the non-Pro phone launched with the largest battery the company has ever packed inside a phone.
