OnePlus 13 tipped to launch with most RAM of all comparable next-gen Android flagships

The OnePlus 13 is thought to replace its existing 12 forebear as soon as possible (in the third quarter of 2024) in China. Now, it is tipped to do so with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

That spec, according to the typically reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, will be exclusive to the OnePlus flagship among its peers, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra and even the Xiaomi 15 Pro, currently believed to be first to debut with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, included.

It may not be all that surprising, as the Ace 3 Pro also had up to 24GB of RAM - as did the 12, albeit in China only. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if OnePlus makes the top-end option available to the rest of the world this time: currently, its flagship is available with 16GB at best on Amazon.

On the other hand, a 24GB 13 is also now believed to forfeit another predicted advantage of the upcoming flagship, which is that it is thought to launch with pricing as close to last-gen as possible.
