The OnePlus 13 is thought to be one of the first Android flagship smartphones to reach the international market with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Now, it is said to have 2 charging modes with the power to match its bleeding-edge new silicon - whereas other, closely-related, devices might not.

The OPPO Find X8 is projected to launch with a new and "fruity" design, complete with flat edges to go with its flat display in an apparently patent attempt to draw as many comparisons with an iPhone 16-series device from its launch as possible.

To this end, the vanilla flagship will also feature OPPO's first-gen take on Apple's MagSafe after all, according to knowledgeable leaker Digital Chat Station.

The Find X8 is said to pair a generationally enlarged battery to this new spec, although its wired charging is also now thought to take a hit, dropping from 100W (11V/9.1A) in the X7 to 80W (11V/7.3A) later this year.

Digital Chat Station now claims to have established through new 3C filings that the same is true of its Find X8 Pro and X8 Pro Satellite Edition siblings - but not their cousin the OnePlus 13.

OPPO's 'co-brand' is also now backed to launch the new magnetic wireless charging feature in its upcoming flagship smartphone, but to keep its wired charging rate at 100W, just like the OnePlus 12.

The latter's wireless charging goes up to 50W with first-party accessories like this AirVOOC charging stand from Amazon - however, that rate might be compromised in the 13's updated version. On the other hand, it is also now touted to be the "strongest" form of magnetic charging known to Android devices on its debut.
