The increasingly well-known and aspirational vlogger friendly GoPro rival Insta360 has cuts the price of both its ex-flagship X3 360° camera and newer Ace Pro action-cam flagship by $50 to $399.99, whereas its vanilla Ace currently goes for $299.99, or $80 off its normal RRP.
Then again, the Ace Pro's Splash Bundle, which augments the little camera's existing rugged hype with a Float Guard and a Dive Case, is now priced at $498, or $56 off its typical RRP.
Those more interested in a tiny body-wearable camera that can also transform into a more conventional, touchscreen-enabled Ace-type form factor via a unique charging case could also go for the GO 3, which now starts for $319.99 (-$80) on Insta360.com.
Then again, that price is for the 64GB internal storage version of the GO 3, whereas its series-first 128GB alternative is out of stock. However, it is available on Amazon at the time of writing, for $395 rather than its typical $419.99 RRP. Unfortunately, the gadget's latest black version is not available on either site right now.
Then again, the OEM itself offers a free Insta360-branded flask with each purchase during the sale, which lasts for about 9 days from today (May 28, 2024).
