ONEXFLY: One-netbook confirms global release for 7-inch and AMD Ryzen 7 7840U gaming handheld
Yesterday, it emerged that One-netbook had announced new details about the ONEXFLY in China, nine months after its previous teaser. Now, the company has signalled its intentions to offer the device globally. As always, One-netbook will start by selling the gaming handheld through Indiegogo. If past ONEXPLAYER releases are anything to go by, then the ONEXFLY will eventually be orderable from One-netbook's ONEXPLAYER global store too.
Ultimately, the ONEXFLY is likely to share many components with the AOKZOE A2; AOKZOE maintains a close but unclear relationship with One-netbook. For instance, the pair share comparable copy and promotional imagery on their Indiegogo campaigns. The ONEXFLY and AOKZOE A2 do not look identical though, so it appears that they will at least not be facsimiles of each other. At any rate, the company has revealed a few details about the ONEXFLY, or ONEXPLAYER Fly as shown on Indiegogo.
Specifically, the gaming handheld will combine a 7-inch IPS display with an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU within a housing that weighs 580 g. Based on One-netbook's previous teaser, the ONEXFLY's small display also outputs at 1080p and 120 Hz, mirroring the capabilities of the ASUS ROG Ally. For now, One-netbook has not confirmed when its Indiegogo campaign will go live. However, the campaign is already live in preview mode, where you can sign up for future updates.
