Nothing Headphone (1) official with a premium feature set and up to 80 hours of battery life

After making its market debut with the Nothing Ear (1) in 2021, Nothing released several new devices. Now, it adds another one to its repertoire: a pair of headphones to go with the Nothing Phone (3). The Nothing Headphone (1) is aimed at an enthusiast audience and comes with multiple features that put it in the high-end territory.

They come with custom 40 mm dynamic drivers (tuned by KEF) with an impedance of 15 Ohms and a frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 KHz. It features four built-in microphones for calls and two for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at a noise reduction level of up to 42 dB. On the flip side, Transparency mode lets you check in on your surroundings.

Nothing claims the Headphone (1) can last up to 80 hours on a single charge without ANC (AAC codec). With it enabled, that figure goes down to 35 hours. Similarly, using the LDAC codec reduces the hours to 55 and 30, respectively. Lastly, one can get up to 57 hours of talk time on a single charge. It is made possible by a 1,040 mAh Li-ion battery that charges via USB-C.

Similarly, Nothing says a five-minute charge is enough for five hours of playback without ANC. A full charge will take around 2 hours. The Nothing Headphone (1) supports dual-device connectivity via Bluetooth 5.3. Other features include Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and a low-latency mode for gaming.

Spatial audio is also included, but only on supported hardware. The Nothing Headphone (1) is compatible with both iOS and Android devices via the Nothing X app. Apart from wireless connectivity, USB-C and 3.5 mm audio are also supported.

The Nothing Headphone (1) costs €299 and is available in two colourways: Black and White.
