Back in May, Nothing announced its entry into the over-ear headphones market. The smartphone manufacturer's stated aim is to outperform the Apple AirPods Max at a much lower price. Reliable leaker billbil-kun has just now published the alleged final euro price on Dealabs.
Accordingly, the Nothing Headphone (1) will be available in Europe at a price of €299. This would make the over-ear headphones cheaper than the AirPods Max or the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H100, but would put the manufacturer in direct competition with slightly older flagship headphones such as the Bowers & Wilkins Px8 or the Sony WH-1000XM5. The Nothing Headphone (1) will be available in white, gray and black. According to information from billbil-kun, the headphones will be announced on July 1, together with the brand new Nothing Phone (3).
However, delivery may commence much later, as previous rumors have suggested a sales launch on September 30. In the teaser video below, Nothing states that the company's own headphones will feature a striking design that is very different from competing headphones. The buttons for controlling playback and volume will be tactile, unlike some competitors where all buttons have the same shape so that users have to memorize their function. Above all, the Nothing Headphone (1) aims to impress with good sound quality.
