Ahead of the launch on June 19, OnePlus has released the complete specifications of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 earphones. As previously reported, the new neckband-style Bluetooth earphones will have a similar design to their predecessor, and now, the product listing has revealed very little has changed in terms of technical specifications. However, there are still some notable features to set the two earphones apart.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 will have 12.4mm drivers like the Bullets Wireless Z2 with support for AAC and SBC codecs only. The earphones will have IP55 dust and water resistance rating, an in-line remote, and Bluetooth 5.4 with support for Google Fast Pair.
The battery capacity remains unchanged at 220mAh but the total battery life is now 36 hours, up from the Bullets Wireless Z2's 30 hours and miles ahead of the Beats Flex Wireless (currently available on Amazon for $49.98) 12 hours of battery life. Users will also get more use out of them after charging for just 10 minutes — unlike the Bullets Wireless Z2 which provide only 20 hours of use after a 10-minute charge, the Bullets Wireless Z3 will last up to 27 hours. As expected, they charge via USB-C.
OnePlus says the new earphones will have support for OnePlus 3D Spatial Audio. Users should also experience crystal-clear calls thanks to a combination of advanced AI algorithms and environmental noise cancellation (ENC). As previously speculated, these do not have active noise cancellation.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 will come with three pairs of silicone tips in small, medium, and large sizes. Unfortunately, OnePlus has decided not to include a USB-C charging cable in the box. The new earphones will be available in Mambo Midnight and Samba Sunset when they are announced on June 19.
While the price of the headphones hasn't yet been revealed, availability seems to be limited to India unlike the upcoming OnePlus Buds 4 which will be launched in Europe and North America.
