The JH-ANC930Plus is a new pair of over-ear headphones with a detachable display. Playback control and active ambient noise cancellation are supported.
Headphones with a display on the charging case are not completely unusual, such as the JBL Tour Pro 3. However, the Siindoo JH-ANC930Plus does things a little differently in that it has a detachable display that can be clicked into one of the ear cups. This display acts as a kind of remote control with which playback can be controlled and various settings adjusted. A wallpaper can also be set and a small video game played.
The model comes with active suppression of ambient noise, which can be useful in noisy environments such as airplanes. As is usual for over-ear headphones, 40 millimeter drivers are installed, which should be able to reproduce frequencies in the standard range of between 20 and 20,000 Hz.
The Siindoo JH-ANC930Plus headphones can be connected to devices with a 3.5mm jack. In addition to the display, there are also buttons for activating and deactivating noise cancellation as well as for adjusting the volume. Further details about the headphones can be found here, where it is available as a direct import for a price of $66.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

Growing up in regional Australia, I first became acquainted with computers in my early teens after a broken leg from a football (soccer) match temporarily condemned me to a predominately indoor lifestyle. Soon afterwards I was building my own systems. Now I live in Germany, having moved here in 2014, where I study philosophy and anthropology. I am particularly fascinated by how computer technology has fundamentally and dramatically reshaped human culture, and how it continues to do so.
