Earlier this year, Sonos slashed the price of its one and only pair of premium headphones, the Sonos Ace to $349 — 22% or $100 off its launch price. Now, the Ace headphones are down to an even lower price, making them a great alternative to not just the Sony WH-1000XM6 but also the Nothing Headphone (1).
The Sonos Ace are currently down to $299 on Amazon and when you order directly from Sonos' website. This is $150 off the headphones' original price and the lowest yet since they were launched last year. At this new low price, the Sonos Ace are a suitable alternative to the $449.99 Sony WH-1000XM6. Not only are they cheaper, they also have support for USB audio which Sony's new headphones lack.
The Ace also seems to be the better choice when compared to the Nothing Headphone (1) which also cost $299.99. While Nothing's over-the-ear headphones have a longer battery life and an IP52 dust and water resistance rating, the Sonos Ace have a more premium build, are lighter, and have more microphones for better noise cancellation. They also work with select Sonos soundbars, allowing users to easily switch their TV audio from the soundbar to the headphones with the touch of a button.
In addition, Sonos also recently released an update for the Ace headphones that improve noise cancellation, call clarity, and brings a realistic surround sound experience that's based on Sonos' TrueCinema technology.
