Fairphone introduces new camera module for Fairphone 3, starts selling Fairphone 3+

Fairphone launched a new camera module for the Fairphone 3 today. The module includes a 48 MP sensor. Fairphone also announced a new front-facing camera module housing a 16 MP shooter. These modules can be purchased separately or pre-installed in the new Fairphone 3+.

Qualcomm and Ericsson announce a world-first in the development of 5G carrier aggregation

Qualcomm and Ericsson have been collaborating on the development of 5G technology for quite some time now. The partners' latest achievement is the successful completion of data calls using carrier aggregation. This was done using the standalone sub-6GHz form of the radio standard, which means the same could become more usable and attractive to mobile networks in the future.
