Seiko has introduced a new character-themed model for its 5 Sports line, this time built around the Pink Panther. The watch, reference SRPM07, borrows the familiar 38 mm case profile from the smaller 5 Sports divers and switches it into a full pink execution, complete with paw-prints on the dial and matching packaging. Leaks regarding this watch surfaced earlier in November 2025.
Off the bat, the dial should catch people's eyes. It’s a saturated pink tone with Pink Panther paw prints pressed into the surface. The seconds hand is also pink, and the bezel insert mixes pink minute markings with a black ring to keep some contrast. A day-date window sits at three o’clock, and the handset matches the standard 5 Sports design. On the back, a pink exhibition window shows the Panther’s eyes and the character logo printed across the glass.
Inside is Seiko’s 4R36 automatic movement, the usual choice for this line, with hand-winding, hacking, and a day-date complication. The watch measures 38 × 12.1 × 44.2 mm, making it one of the more wearable cases in the current 5 Sports catalog, since it should suit skinnier wrists as well. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters. It ships with both a stainless-steel bracelet and a bright pink nylon strap featuring more paw graphics.
The packaging is fully themed as well, using a blue-and-pink illustrated box with Pink Panther artwork on the lid. Seiko has confirmed the watch is limited to 9,999 units and will be released in January. Given how character editions in the 5 Sports range tend to move quickly, collectors might want to keep an eye on this model, especially those who enjoy Seiko’s smaller-case releases and the more playful end of their catalogue.
