Seiko USA has revealed a new regional-exclusive Prospex model, the SNR058, which is a Spring Drive GMT with a black-to-brown textured dial. The finish shows a vertical gradient combined with irregular surface detailing. The model is part of Seiko’s premium Prospex LX-style Spring Drive lineup rather than the more widely distributed mechanical GMT ranges.
The case is made of titanium and measures 44.8 × 14.7 × 50.9 mm, with a brushed surface and a rose-gold-colored crown, alongside a matching rose-gold bezel ring. The bezel itself uses a sapphire insert with a 24-hour scale for dual-time tracking. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar.
Inside, the watch uses the 5R66 Spring Drive GMT movement, which provides a power-reserve indicator at 8 o’clock and independent hour setting for travel use. The sweeping seconds hand (which is a characteristic of Spring Drive movements) is also present, and the 72-hour power reserve remains unchanged from other 5R-series models.
Bracelet images show a three-link titanium construction with polished center bevels and a folding clasp. The model is described by Seiko USA (via @plus9time) as a special edition without a fixed production quantity.
The SNR058 is exclusive to the US market. Pricing and retail availability details have not yet been provided, but distribution is expected to follow standard Prospex Spring Drive channels within the region. Alternatively, you can check out the Seiko Prospex SSC947 on Amazon.
