The Eva "The 30" x Seiko Collaboration Watch (EVA-01 model) has been launched in Japan. This limited edition timepiece celebrates the 30th anniversary of the anime TV series Neon Genesis Evangelion.
This Seiko watch has a purple, green and black design, inspired by the Evangelion Unit-01. There are motifs in the 12 o'clock, 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock positions which represent parts of EVA-01, and the crimson colored second hand is shaped like the Spear of Longinus. Plus, the dial has a honeycomb pattern and the watch comes with a sporty silicone strap.
The Seiko Diver's Watch uses a caliber 4R36, an automatic movement with mechanical winding. It is said to remain accurate to within 45 seconds each day and offers a 41-hour power reserve when fully wound. The model has a stainless steel casing, measuring 49.1 x 45.0 x 14.1 mm (~1.93 x 1.77 x 0.56 inches), and a 22 mm (~0.87 inch) wide band. It is water resistant to 200 m, and it also offers JIS class-1 magnetic resistance.
In Japan, you can now pre-order the Eva "The 30" x Seiko Collaboration Watch at the Radio Eva online store for ¥132,000 (~$854). Deliveries are expected to be made in early March 2026, and there are only 300 units available. It does not appear that this timepiece will be officially released in other markets like the US.
