Seiko and All Nippon Airways (ANA) have released a new collaboration watch in Japan. The timepiece is said to be inspired by the airline’s most popular aircraft, the Boeing 777, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The Seiko 7T92-0000 watch has a two-tone blue dial, the color scheme of the ANA brand. Design nods to the aircraft include the number 777 engraved in the six o’clock position, and its fuselage is depicted on the indicator in the 12 o’clock position. Plus, the outline of the Boeing 777 is engraved on the case back, alongside a unique serial number; only 777 pieces of this watch have been made.
Seiko’s ANA collaboration watch features three analog hands, said to remain accurate to within 15 seconds each month. This is a battery-powered quartz model, with a 7T92 caliber, and it should run for around three years. Features include a 1/20th second chronograph and a tachymeter bezel. The silver-tone metal case measures 4.72 x 3.92 cm (~1.86 x 1.54 inches), and the watch comes with a matching stainless steel strap.
The Seiko x ANA 7T92-0000 watch retails for ¥59,800 (~$387) in Japan. It is currently marked as out of stock at the ANA online store. It appears that this timepiece is exclusive to the Japanese market, though it may be available through international resellers.
