Corsair fans will likely be familiar with the Xeneon Edge - a 14.5-inch display in a 32:9 aspect ratio that was designed to sit under a monitor, or anywhere else, and convey a whole bunch of useful information through a customizable UI.
The Xeneon Edge display is also touch-friendly, and sports a resolution of 2560 x 720 and a peak brightness of 350 nits. The refresh rate is a rather disappointing 60 Hz, which should still be enough for widgets with motion.
Corsair Frame 4000D LCD: Gaming PC tower with 14.5-inch LCD display
Corsair has now introduced the Frame 4000D LCD PC mid-tower case, equipped with the aforementioned Xeneon Edge display strapped to its side. The mid-size tower measures in at roughly 48 x 49 x 23 cm, or 18.9 x 19.29 x 9.45 inches. GPUs up to 430 mm in length can be installed, as well as E-ATX motherboards. CPU coolers up to a maximum height of 170 mm are supported (Noctua NH-D15 currently $140 on Amazon).
The Corsair 4000D gaming tower itself has received praise from reviewers for excellent quality and airflow, and the Frame 4000D is unlikely to be any different. A total of three 120 mm fans can be installed at the top, side, or front. Dual 200 mm fans can also be fitted at the front. As expected, the bottom supports a single 120 mm fan as well.
Storage is handled by dual 3.5" drive bays, and four 2.5" drive bays. Multiple I/O options are also present at the front, including dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 3.5 mm audio, and a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C. Priced at $399.99, the Frame 4000D LCD mid-tower case is already available for purchase directly from Corsair, in black and white colorways.
