New Citizen Promaster limited-edition watches launch with Eco-Drive and structured ink dials

Citizen just announced two new Promaster Diver models, the BN0167-09W and EO2023-00W, with listings now live in Canada following a regional announcement alongside China. Both watches are limited-edition timepieces, though exact production numbers have not been confirmed.
Citizen describes the new vivid dial as a "structural ink" finish with horizontal striping, which creates a shifting blue surface that turns slightly purple under certain lighting. The effect is visible across both models, while the rest of the layout stays consistent with existing Promaster diver designs.
The BN0167-09W uses a 44 mm stainless steel case with a silver-tone finish and a dark strap. The EO2023-00W is smaller at 36.5 mm and comes in a rose gold-tone case with a light-colored strap. Aside from size and color, the two models share the same core design. Both watches run on Citizen’s E168 Eco-Drive movement, powered by light. They also offer 200 meters of water resistance, a unidirectional bezel, and a date window at 3 o’clock. The BN0167-09W listing confirms mineral crystal, and the EO2023-00W appears to follow the same specification.
As mentioned earlier, both models are marked as limited editions on the Canadian website, but no official quantities are listed. Some early claims from @plus9time hint at nearly 8,700 units for the BN0167-09W, though this has not been confirmed by Citizen.
Pricing is set at CA $625 (~$434) for each model. At that level, the update is mostly visual, based on the dial finish rather than changes to the main underlying platform.
