New Citizen collab watch with striking green dial appears
A new Citizen Black Panther 60th Anniversary watch is on the way. The AW1858-03W will join existing models in this collaboration range, like the AW1668-50W.
The Citizen Black Panther 60th Anniversary Watch has been spotted in an Amazon US listing. This reveals its design and many specifications. Plus, one image of this watch can also be found on Citizen’s official website in the US, on the TerraForce AW1890-51X product listing.
Citizen’s AW1858-03W has a black and green design, inspired by the King of Wakanda, T’Challa. The dial features a triangular pattern in green, black and white, with a gold Black Panther mask logo at its center. The minute track adds purple accents, and it is surrounded by a black ion plated stainless steel bezel. The metal casing is 42 mm (~1.65 inches) wide, engraved with a Black Panther 60th anniversary at the rear, and the watch comes with a black silicone strap.
The AW1858-03W has three analog hands and a basic date display. We also know that the model uses a J810 Eco Drive movement, which can be powered by any light source. Plus, the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, and the watch is marketed as water resistant to 100 m.
According to the Amazon product listing, the Citizen Black Panther AW1858-03W watch will retail for $450. It is marked as 'Temporarily Out of Stock', with no indication as to when it could go on sale in the US. Details of any wider launch have also yet to be announced.
