The Casio G-Shock Full Metal GM110BD-1A9 and GM110BD-8A watches are expected to launch in the US in April 2025. These two models leaked earlier this year and have since been released in Japan.
Rumors of a US launch of these two new models began after they were spotted at US retailers like Watches.com. Plus, these watches are already listed on Amazon with third-party sellers like Beach Cities Watch Co. The GM110BD-1A9, also known as the GM-110BD-1A9, has a black and gold design, while the GM110BD-8A, also known as the GM-110BD-8A, is silver. The hybrid watches have two small inset digital displays, with a resin casing and stainless steel bezel. They are shock-resistant and water-resistant to 20 ATMs.
The GM110 series watches offer world time for 48 cities, with a home city swap function making it easy to toggle between two locations. There is a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer with a 24-hour range and five daily alarms. A white LED backlight helps you to read the watch in low lighting, and Casio estimates that the watches will run for around three years on their battery.
The Casio GM110BD-1A9 and GM110D-8A watches are expected to retail in the US for $350 and $300, respectively. There is no indication as to which date these models will launch. Moreover, whether or when they could be released in other markets like the UK or Europe remains to be seen.
