The Casio G-Shock Move GMDS300C watches are now available in the US. These models, also known as the GMD-B300SC series, leaked earlier this year, with a global launch hinted at in February. The range includes three versions: the GMDB300SC-2 (turquoise), the GMDB300SC-4 (coral orange) and the GMDB300SC-7 (white).
The GMDS300C is a G-Shock watch with a built-in accelerometer, allowing you to track your step count. On the wearable, you can view your daily steps and progress towards your goal. Plus, Bluetooth connectivity means that you can view a data log in the Casio Watches smartphone app. Other app features include a phone finder tool and the ability to transfer data captured using the 1/100-second stopwatch.
Users can select two world time zones from a list of 300 cities and choose from 12 or 24-hour formats. Other features include a countdown timer, five daily alarms and an LED backlight. This shock resistant model is water-resistant to 200 m and is expected to run for around two years on a CR2016 battery. Each watch has a sporty design with an octagonal bezel, resin casing, and strap.
You can now buy the Casio G-Shock Move GMDB300SC-2, GMDB300SC-4 and GMDB300SC-7 watches in the US for $120 each. Whether or when these models could officially launch in other markets, such as Europe, remains to be seen.
