Neverness to Everness Version 1.2 Phase 2 launches July 29. Get details on S-Class Anima healer Iroi, her banner release, new events, and Version 1.3 updates.

Perfect World Games and Hotta Studio are rolling out Phase 2 of Neverness to Everness (NTE) Version 1.2 on July 29, 2026. Titled "999 Nights," this second half brings the urban open-world RPG's first dedicated limited S-Class healer to limited banners, expanding character choices alongside new story updates across Hethereau.

Debut of S-Class hybrid support Iroi

Iroi headlines the update as an S-Class Anima hybrid support. Designed as a top-tier sustain unit, she plugs a major gap in NTE’s lineup by delivering team-wide healing, crowd control, and damage buffs built around Blossom-reaction team comps... making her a natural partner for Cosmos DPS carries like Shinku. Her toolkit centers on Imagination, a unique resource that boosts both her offensive output and support skills. She also brings a Regression passive, allowing teammates to avoid lethal damage by instantly swapping places with one of her three summons.

Her limited banner, "The Lifeline," runs from July 29 through August 19. Unlike many gacha titles, NTE skips the standard 50/50 system entirely. Banner progression directly guarantees the featured S-Class character without off-banner spooks, capping out at a 90-pull hard pity.

Banner rotation and Scarborough Fair updates

Iroi takes over for Phase 1's martial artist DPS Shinku, whose "Before the Dawn" banner ends when maintenance hits on July 29. Players can also target Iroi's signature Arc equipment on a concurrent weapon banner during Phase 2.

Alongside the new banner, Version 1.2 continues the Scarborough Fair event line, diving deeper into the strange anomalies popping up around Hethereau. The patch also brings the 999 Nights tabletop-inspired mode on the Warren Continent, plus the new Draco motorcycle... which features exclusive synergy effects when paired with Shinku's signature outfit.

What's coming in version 1.3

Looking ahead, Hotta Studio is already dropping hints for Version 1.3, which should land around late August given the game's typical six-week cycle. Early teasers point to the climax of the "Scarlet Letter" arc, introducing former antagonist Zankou as a playable Incantation S-Class unit alongside a new Anima character, Linko. Until then, players grinding high-level Abyss floors can pick up Iroi to bolster squad survival before the next story chapter lands.
