Mistfall Hunter launches July 29 on PC and consoles

Developer Bellring Games and publisher Skystone Games have locked in the global launch schedule for Mistfall Hunter, their upcoming third-person PvPvE extraction action RPG. The game officially unlocks on July 29, 2026, at 6:00 PM PT (01:00 UTC on July 30) across PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. 

Following a breakout open beta during Steam Next Fest that brought in nearly 430,000 players, the studio confirmed platform pricing alongside a 10% introductory launch discount running through August 12.

World lore, Dew, and high-stakes extraction mechanics

Set in a ruined world where a catastrophic war between gods and outer gods wiped out all deities, Mistfall Hunter centers on the corrupting Gyldenmist born from divine blood. Players step into the shoes of Gyldhunters - fallen heroes resurrected by a mysterious girl named Dew - to venture into perilous zones, harvest Gyldenblod, and repair the shattered Web of Fate.

Designed for solo players or co-op squads of up to three, combat aims to be third-person action with six distinct classes: Withered Knight, Mercenary, Sorcerer, Blackarrow, Shadowstrix, and Seer.

Each class features customizable talent trees, active skills, and real-time weapon switching. However, extraction remains unforgiving. Gyldhunters battle corrupted beasts and rival player squads for valuable relics, but dying before reaching an extraction point results in losing all unextracted loot collected during the run.

Standard vs. Deluxe Edition pricing breakdown

Bellring Games detailed launch pricing across all storefronts ahead of server deployment. The base Standard Edition launches at $24.99, providing access to the core game and future seasonal content drops containing new zones, bosses, gear, and playable classes. Standard Edition buyers can also upgrade to the Deluxe Edition post-launch for $15.00.

Priced at $39.99, the Digital Deluxe Edition packages the full base game with several exclusive cosmetics. Buyers receive the Forsaken Skeleton character outfit, Shipwreck Coast profile background, Web of Fate earrings, Justice standing pose, and Pip's Daily Life emote set. The bundle also includes the Dew avatar, Light Feather avatar frame, and 2,500 Fate Coins to spend in the cosmetic shop.

Cross-platform co-op and launch timing

Mistfall Hunter features full online cross-play across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, allowing squadmates on different systems to jump into hunts together the moment servers open.
