Motorola will soon release Android 17 for Edge 70 and others with these new features

Motorola has officially confirmed that the rollout of Android 17 will begin shortly. The Motorola Signature ($999 on Amazon) is the manufacturer’s first smartphone set to receive the update. However, it may still take several months before Android 17 is available for all compatible devices, particularly for older and more affordable models. The update is planned for the following models:

Motorola has already confirmed many of the new features that the update will bring on a preview website. According to the site, the update introduces new personalization options, including widget stacks on the home screen and app icons whose colors automatically adapt to the selected theme. The "Classic" view of Quick Settings will feature a space-saving mode that hides icons.

Android 17 can automatically summarize and group incoming messages using AI. Live updates can display progress directly in a push notification. Handy: The brightness when displaying HDR photos and videos can now be reduced in the settings. If desired, HDR content can also always be displayed in SDR. In addition, Motorola promises performance and security improvements.
