Motorola reveals tablet with 5G connectivity and 12.1-inch display

Motorola previously confirmed details about the Moto Pad 70 Groove. The tablet features a nine-speaker JBL audio system and is scheduled to launch in India on July 31. Now, a Flipkart microsite has revealed the launch date and key specifications of the standard Moto Pad 70.
The Moto Pad 70 is confirmed to feature a 12.1-inch display with a "2.5K" resolution and up to 800 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode. The tablet supports the Moto Pen stylus, which is included in the box. It features the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, a 6nm octa-core chipset that typically scores around 449K points in AnTuTu v10.
The tablet packs a 10,200mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It weighs 530 grams and measures 6.29mm thick. The Pad 70 runs Android 16 out of the box. The company promises two major Android upgrades and security updates until 2030. Additional highlights include 5G connectivity and a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.
Motorola is set to launch the Moto Pad 70 in India on August 8. Based on its specifications, the tablet appears to be based on the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus (curr. $268.28 on Amazon US).
