Motorola Signature

Motorola Signature
ⓘ Motorola
The Motorola Signature aims at the premium Android flagship segment with a slim yet rugged build, a 6.8-inch 165Hz LTPO AMOLED display, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 performance. Reviews commend its design, durability and seven-year update policy, while pointing to conservative camera processing, uneven speaker impact, and thermal throttling under sustained load.

Pros

+ Slim, lightweight flagship design
+ Rugged IP68/IP69 protection
+ Bright 165Hz LTPO AMOLED
+ Versatile triple 50MP cameras
+ Seven-year update commitment

Cons

- Conservative camera image processing
- Speakers lack expected punch
- Throttles under sustained gaming
- Software experience can feel messy
- Pricey versus close rivals

Motorola Signature is positioned as a premium, rugged Android 16 flagship built around the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 16GB RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It pairs that hardware with a large 6.8-inch quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display running at 165Hz and reaching very high peak brightness. The camera setup uses three 50MP rear modules (main, ultrawide/macro, and telephoto with OIS) plus a 50MP selfie camera, with video up to 8K. Durability is a standout, combining Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with an aluminum frame and IP68/IP69 plus MIL-STD-810H certification. Battery capacity is 5,200mAh with fast 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Across reviews, the phone scores well overall but is criticized for conservative photo processing, underwhelming audio impact in some tests, and thermal throttling during prolonged heavy use.

Reviews for the Motorola Signature

87.9% Motorola Signature review: DxO award-winning attack on Apple and Samsung | Notebookcheck
The Motorola Signature is one of the slimmest and lightest smartphones currently available. In the test, Motorola's new top model also impressed with its bright AMOLED display and the outstanding Sony LYTIA camera system, which ranked in the top 10 in the DxO camera test. Read the test to find out who still shouldn't buy the Signature.
80% Motorola Signature review: The slimline flagship
Source: Tech Advisor English
The Motorola Signature makes a couple of moves to justify its billing as Moto’s new flagship, packing in powerful Snapdragon hardware, offering good performance and a great display, in a design that’s thinner than most. It’s a little more affordable than some mainstream rivals and with 7 years of software updates, it can compete with the best for support. Motorola’s camera offers a flagship experience with a full selection of useful lenses, giving solid results, although it’s not the best phone for photography around this price point. But the battery is small compared to some rivals and the software experience is messy – and needs plenty of management to turn off or remove the annoying additions. The Motorola Signature is a good phone, but it doesn’t quite stand out enough.

86% Motorola Signature review
Source: GSM Arena English
The Motorola Signature brings a well-rounded, premium experience with very few obvious weak spots and plenty of highlights that justify its top-tier positioning. The design and build quality are excellent, with a sleek yet sturdy chassis and Motorola's typical attention to durability. The display is another standout - sharp, vibrant and highly capable, even if its manual brightness isn't class-leading. The stereo speakers are superb as well, delivering loud and rich audio that easily ranks among the best in the segment. Performance is undeniably flagship-grade. While the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 isn't the absolute fastest chip available right now, it is more than powerful enough for everyday use and gaming.

80% Motorola Signature review: ultra-thin, ultra-fast, but not quite ultra-premium
Source: Stuff TV English
The Motorola Signature is Motorola’s most ambitious phone in years, and in many ways, it delivers. It’s incredibly thin, looks elegant from the front, and has one of the best displays you’ll find on any phone right now. Performance is flawless thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, battery life is genuinely impressive, and the main camera in particular produces excellent results. The clean Android experience and seven-year software support promise add long-term appeal too. The biggest letdown is the rear finish. It simply doesn’t feel as premium as the rest of the hardware, and the slippery texture means you’ll probably want to hide it in a case anyway.

80% Motorola Signature Review
Source: Trusted Reviews English
The Motorola Signature is a refined, slimline flagship with a superb display, strong cameras, smooth performance and fast charging, but it doesn’t feel like the dramatic luxury upgrade its branding implies. If you can live with some software clutter and a design that blends in rather than stands out, it’s one of the best thin-and-light options you can buy right now.

Motorola Signature Review: The "Flagship Killer" Nobody Saw Coming
Source: Tech X Reviews English
Is it possible to have a Pro-level experience in a body that’s only 6.99mm thin? In today’s review of the all-new Motorola Signature, we find out if you really have to compromise performance for portability. Most "Air" style phones sacrifice battery life and camera quality for a thin design. The Motorola Signature challenges that by packing a massive 5200mAh battery, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and a triple 50MP Sony camera system into a chassis that weighs just 186g. We test the 8K Dolby Vision recording, push the gaming performance with Genshin Impact, and test the insane 100x AI Telephoto capabilities. Plus, is the "Tianxi AI" the smartest assistant on a phone yet? Watch to find out!

The 'Luxury' Smartphone | Motorola Signature Review
Source: Tech Spurt English
Reviewing the Motorola Signature, a 'luxury' smartphone boasting slick Pantone design and proper flagship specs (mostly). I've been testing Moto's most premium phone and here's my Motorola Signature verdict, including full camera test, gaming experience, battery life and beyond. It looks like an Edge phone, and in fact is only slightly thicker than the incredibly slim Moto Edge 70 which I recently reviewed. However, the Motorola Signature boasts a bigger silicon carbon battery, while you've also got a triple 50MP camera setup around back. This serves up a fresh Lytia sensor which is great for low light photos, as well as a decent telephoto shooter.

80% Motorola Signature review: The ‘luxe’ smartphone that combines conventional and unconventional elements
Source: The Indian Express English
Every year, I review flagship smartphones and return to the same question, though the answer is different each time. In a sea of high-end phones, some models make the list year after year, but with each passing year, more devices join the list – ones I never imagined would rank so high. In my opinion, this is a good thing, as more competition leads to better devices and more options for consumers. That brings me to Motorola, a household brand best known for its Razr flip phones. However, the company hasn’t been able to produce a flagship that goes head-to-head with the iPhone and the Galaxy S series. Motorola believes its new Signature series could change that perception.

Source: Think Digit English
The Motorola Signature is designed for users who want a sleek, reliable, and well-rounded flagship that feels premium in the hand. Its slim, lightweight design, vibrant display, and strong performance make it ideal for everyday use, media streaming and gaming. The cameras deliver good results, while the battery easily lasts over a day and supports fast charging for quick top-ups. It may not offer the most colour-accurate display or the absolute best camera performance, but if you’re looking for a balanced, practical, and polished smartphone, the Motorola Signature is worth considering.

Poco M8 Review: A Strong Contender in the Mid-Budget Smartphone Market
Source: Exhibit.tech English
The Poco M8 is a solid mid-budget phone priced from ₹18,999, known for its design, display quality, and battery life. It offers good value with long software support but is limited by average gaming performance and a basic camera system. While it doesn’t outperform competitors like the Realme P4x or Moto G96 in power or photography, its slim build and bright AMOLED screen are appealing. It’s great for calls, media, and light use, but those with specialized needs may want to consider other options.

Motorola Signature vs OnePlus 15R: Which Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered smartphone should you opt for?
Source: 91mobiles English
Coming at a starting price of Rs 59,999, the Motorola Signature can be a suitable purchase for those who seek a discrete rear panel finish in a sleek form factor, a premium-looking quad-curved display, and significantly longer software support. It also sits at an advantageous position by rocking a versatile camera setup that includes a periscope lens, potentially unlocking many photography use cases like portraits, long-range zoom, and macro shots. While the performance through the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 on the Motorola Signature may suffice for daily workloads, the OnePlus 15R with the same chipset is a better gaming and thermally efficient performer. It also triumphs the Signature in terms of battery life, AI features, and better software customisation.

Motorola Signature review: A refined value flagship with standout cameras
Source: Business Standard English
The Motorola Signature gets a lot right where it matters on a day-to-day basis. The design is impressive, with its ultra-thin, lightweight build and fabric finish making it comfortable to hold for long periods without feeling fragile. The display is large, smooth, and colour-accurate for the most part, while the stereo speakers deliver clear, loud, and well-balanced audio that works equally well for content consumption and gaming. Core performance is solid, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 handles everyday tasks and multitasking with ease, charging is fast, and the camera system performs well in daylight with good detail retention and capable telephoto output. That said, the Motorola Signature is not without its shortcomings.

84% Motorola Signature review: signed, sealed, and set to impress
Source: 91mobiles English
The Motorola Signature does have a few drawbacks. Its cameras, while equipped with capable hardware, are held back by conservative processing, limiting detail and dynamic range. The 5,200mAh battery is sufficient to last a full day, but may struggle under heavy usage. Similarly, despite support from Bose and Dolby Atmos, the audio output lacks the punch, volume, and clarity one might expect from a flagship device. Thermal throttling under prolonged stress also hints at limits for intense gaming sessions.

80% Motorola Signature Review: The Dark Horse?
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
To conclude, the Motorola Signature tries to stand out from the crowd among the premium flagships. The company has made sure to pack every latest tech that is available in this segment. The handset comes with a sleek and premium design language, which surely stands out, but still gives a Motorola vibe. The display looks good and offers crisp visuals, while the speakers are probably the best you can have in a smartphone. The performance is flagship-grade, and you won't face many issues in everyday use or during gaming. However, it does get hot after prolonged usage. The cameras are surely a strong suit, though with a little more refinement, I am sure they will improve further.

Motorola Signature Camera test
Source: DxOMark English
Thanks to a very decent and well balanced performance in the DXOMARK Camera tests, the Motorola Signature earns itself a spot in the top ten of our ranking and shows that good image quality and camera performance are not incompatible with a very thin smartphone body. In photo mode the Motorola Signature camera captures very pleasant images with good exposure and a wide dynamic range. White balance is generally neutral, resulting in nice and natural colors. When shooting with the primary camera module, the Motorola maintains an excellent trade-off between detail retention and noise reduction, resulting in clean, noise-free images with high levels of detail.
