Motorola's flip phones are several hundred dollars apart in price. But is the Razr 60 Ultra really the better choice? We list all the differences between the two models in order to help you decide.

It goes without saying that manufacturers serve different price ranges and different target groups with their smartphones. That said, foldable or flip smartphones are expensive devices that often shoot above the $1,000 mark, which is due to the high development and production costs.

One exception here is the Motorola Razr 60, which costs well under $1,000 and still has good features. Its significantly more expensive sibling, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, on the other hand, aims to compete with other high-end devices from competing brands and offers top-of-the-line components.

But what are the differences between the two models?

  • The Razr 60 costs just under $700 at Motorola, the Razr 60 Ultra $1,300. Both are available from online retailers for less.
  • The dimensions are roughly the same, but the Razr 60 Ultra is a few grams heavier.
  • Both displays on the Razr 60 Ultra are slightly larger: 7 inches on the inside and 4 inches outside, compared to 6.9 inches and 3.6 inches on the Razr 60. The Ultra also has a higher resolution and frame rate.
  • The Razr 60 Ultra features higher-resolution sensors for the ultra-wide-angle and selfie cameras.
  • The Razr 60 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, a mid-range SoC. The Razr 60 Ultra, on the other hand, utilizes the much more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.
  • The Razr 60 Ultra has twice the storage capacity of the Razr 60 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
  • The Razr 60 Ultra's battery is slightly larger at 4,700 mAh and can be recharged more quickly. Reverse charging is also supported.

Potential buyers who through this list and do not discover anything that is an absolute must in the features of the Razr 60 Ultra can save considerably with the Razr 60.

Nevertheless, we recommend reading our detailed review on the Motorola Razr 60. There, we also reveal a major disadvantage compared to Samsung's flip phones and a way in which you can save even more.
