Xiaomi has just confirmed that the Poco F7 will be launching before the end of the month. As we have discussed separately, the third entry in the Poco F7 series will be landing on June 24 as part of a global launch event. Moreover, Xiaomi will also be hosting an event dedicated to its Indian fanbase.
To that end, Geekbench has now confirmed the creation of an Indian-exclusive model variant. Previously rumoured, the benchmarking platform does not refer to the Poco F7 by name. Instead, it lists the 25053PC47I model number, with the 'I' suffix denoting a device that Xiaomi plans to offer only in India.
Nonetheless, the device shares the same root model number as the 25053PC47G, which has previously been linked to the global version of the Poco F7. Based on the information that we can glean from Geekbench, 25053PC47I will match 25053PC47G with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and 12 GB of RAM. Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Poco F7 will launch in India with a record-breaking battery capacity, too.
Unfortunately, the company is expected to install a significantly smaller battery in versions it sells globally. Regardless, the Poco F7 effectively matches the Poco F7 Pro (curr. $599.99 on Amazon) on Geekbench with single-core and multi-core scores of 1,985 and 6,275, respectively. By contrast, the Poco F7 Pro managed scores of 2,071 and 6,127 when we tested the device in April. Unsurprisingly, the Poco F7 Ultra outperforms both by a wide margin thanks to its more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
