More than just bug fixes: Amazfit updates affordable smartwatch with powerful new features

Zepp Health has rolled out another update for an Amazfit smartwatch. The Amazfit Active 3 Premium (on Amazon) receives software version 3.24.0.1, though it remains unclear whether the firmware has reached all users worldwide. The changelog also includes a rather vague entry covering general bug fixes and optimizations.
Beyond these standard optimizations, version 3.24.0.1 introduces several new features to this relatively affordable smartwatch. Most notably, it improves cross-device consistency for users who own multiple Amazfit or Zepp Health wearables. Daily activity data is now unified within the user account during synchronization, enabling seamless use of different devices. While switching between wearables may not be common, it can be practical—for example, using a rugged model for workouts and a more discreet one for everyday wear. Additionally, data recorded in the cloud by one device is now accessible across other connected wearables.
The update also expands support for Stryd, a sensor system designed to deliver more precise running performance data. Finally, a new virtual pacer for Hyrox activities has been introduced, helping users maintain a steady pace during training or competition.
