Microsoft is reportedly planning to launch a new Xbox special edition controller

Microsoft regularly releases special edition Xbox controllers for fans, offering unique designs inspired by different games and themes. Over the years, we've seen several eye-catching models, including the Breaker Series controllers, the High on Life 2 special edition controller, and more. Now, it looks like another limited edition controller could be on the way.
The latest information comes from Billbil-kun, a leaker with a strong track record of accurately revealing products before their official announcements. According to the leak, Microsoft is preparing to launch a Gears of War: E-Day themed Xbox controller called Storm King.
While Microsoft has not officially announced the controller yet, the leaker believes the reveal is just around the corner and could happen within the next two weeks. An exact release date is still unknown, but the controller is expected to launch with a $89.99 price tag.
The leak also mentions that the controller features a dark color scheme with cracked black and deep red textures that resemble fractured volcanic rock. The left analog stick remains black, while the right analog stick and the X button are finished in red. The D-pad, Xbox button, View, Menu, and Share buttons are all finished in a blood-red color too.
That said, as with any leak, it's worth treating the information with some caution until Microsoft makes an official announcement.
