The MSI Claw 8 AI+ still remains difficult to come by in most cases, despite being officially unveiled at the end of last year. Arguably more elusive is the handheld's Polar Tempest Edition, which arrived in early April before being swiftly removed from MSI's website and the retailer Excaliber PC.
However, the Polar Tempest Edition has returned in what appears to be more of an official release. Previously, MSI merely provided links to purchase the variant via third-party retailers. Now, the company has given the Polar Tempest Edition a dedicated product listing, which was not the case a month ago.
Seemingly, MSI is still set on releasing the Polar Tempest Edition on July 15 in the US with white front panels and 2 TB of storage compared to the original Sandstorm variant. Pricing appears to be unchanged from $999 too, although its model name has changed from Polar Tempest Edition-071US to Polar Tempest Edition-084US.
Also, the new variant has popped up on Amazon Germany with a €1,107 list price. For the time being, we cannot find any equivalent listings in other markets. Regardless, Amazon Germany suggests that the Polar Tempest Edition should reach Europe this summer, too.
