Konami's Suikoden Live broadcast to feature STAR LEAP and Switch 2 release
Konami has announced the return of its Suikoden Live broadcast, scheduled for May 15, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET / 23:00 JST. Fans can catch the stream on Konami’s official YouTube channel, where the company will present new content for both veterans and newcomers to the Suikoden franchise.
As per the official details, the broadcast will spotlight three main segments -
- Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will be released on Nintendo's Switch 2 on June 5th. The remaster was originally launched on March 6th across platforms including PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
- Suikoden STAR LEAP, a new mobile title currently in development for iOS and Android, which will expand the franchise into mobile RPG territory.
- First Time in Suikoden, a new series introduction designed to bring fresh players up to speed on the expansive lore, gameplay, and legacy of the series.
The remastered collection revisits two critically acclaimed titles. Suikoden I follows a young hero’s journey against imperial tyranny. Meanwhile Suikoden II explores friendship and betrayal amidst wartime deception between the Highland Kingdom and the City-States of Jowstown.
