MINISFORUM has started accepting pre-orders for the Elitemini TH60, a mini-PC powered by the Intel Core i5-11260H. For reference, the Core i5-11260H is a 6-core processor from the Tiger Lake H45 family that has a 45 W TDP. Additionally, the Hyper-Threaded processor contains the UHD Graphics XE 32EUs integrated GPU and delivers up to 4.4 GHz CPU clock speeds.
Incidentally, MINISFORUM has only designed the Elitemini TH60 in silver, making it look a lot like the Mac mini. Better still, the Elitemini TH60 is just as tall as the Mac mini, while also being slightly narrower and shallower. Moreover, the Elitemini TH60 supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM across dual SODIMM slots, although it only ships with 16 GB. Likewise, while the Elitemini TH60 has 512 GB of storage, MINISFORUM includes two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slots and an M.2 2230 connection for a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module. The mini-PC is not short of ports either and features the following I/O:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x Clear CMOS
- 1x DisplayPort (8K/60 Hz)
- 1x HDMI (4K/60 Hz)
- 2x Microphones
- 1x RJ45 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A
- 4x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A
- 1x USB Type-C (4K/60 Hz)
Furthermore, MINISFORUM includes a Windows 10 Pro licence, a DC 19V adapter and a mounting bracket. Currently, the 182 x 177 x 36 mm mini-PC sells for US$539 on MINISFORUM's website, excluding shipping. Supposedly, MINISFORUM will raise the price to US$639, eventually. As it stands, MINISFORUM offers AU, EU, JP, UK and US power adapters, too.
