ASUS PN63-S1 announced with up to an Intel Core i7-11370H processor in a sub 1-litre chassis
ASUS has revealed another mini-PC, following in the footsteps of the PN64 and PL63. Like the PL63, the PN63-S1 leverages Intel Tiger Lake processors, along with up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. Specifically, ASUS will pair the PN63-S1 with these five processors:
- Intel Core i3-1115G4 (6 MB Cache, up to 4.1 GHz)
- Intel Core i5-1135G7 (8 MB Cache, up to 4.2 GHz)
- Intel Core i7-1165G7 (12 MB Cache, up to 4.7 GHz)
- Intel Core i5-11300H (8 MB Cache, up to 4.4 GHz)
- Intel Core i7-11370H (12 MB Cache, up to 4.8 GHz)
All configurations feature the same 120 x 130 x 58 mm chassis too. In other words, the PN63-S1 has a 0.9-litre chassis. Additionally, all models have two SO-DIMM slots, a 2.5-inch drive bay and two M.2 2280 slots. Incidentally, only one of these M.2 2280 slots supports PCIe Gen4 x4; ASUS restricts the other to PCIe Gen3 x4. ASUS specifies that the PN63-S1 has the following ports, regardless of the configuration chosen.
- 1x 2.5 Gbps Ethernet
- 1x HDMI 1.4
- 1x Mini DisplayPort 1.2
- 1x configurable COM/DisplayPort 1.4/VGA
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x 3.5mm audio
- 1x SD card reader
Unfortunately, ASUS has not revealed a complete price list for the various PN63-S1 models it plans to sell. However, Guru3D claims that a barebones kit should start at €430 with a Core i3 processor, rising to €620 for the Core i7-11370H-powered edition. In saying that, Liliputing has already noticed an ASUS reseller offering the PN63-S1 with a Core i3-1115G4 for €332.90, including VAT.
