Logitech has introduced a new case for the iPad Air and iPad Pro, just as Apple has lifted the lid on iPadOS 26. For context, Logitech already sells several for most iPads, including the Combo Touch, Folio Touch and Slim Folio, among others. While many of these incorporate trackpads, Logitech has gone down a different route with the Flip Folio.
Essentially, the Flip Folio combines Logitech's existing Keys-to-Go 2 keyboard with a case that has a built-in kickstand. As the video below shows, the Flip Folio's keyboard can attach magnetically to the case's rear when not in use. However, the keyboard does not connect directly to the tablet. Instead, it is self-contained unit like many Bluetooth keyboards.
For reference, each key provides 1 mm of travel but misses out on backlighting. Also, the version designed for 11-inch iPads has an 18 mm key pitch, 1 mm narrower key pitch than its 13-inch counterparts. Supposedly, the keyboard can last up to 1,460 hours on four CR2016 coin cell batteries and supports pretty much any device that offers Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity.
Meanwhile, the case itself has an adjustable kickstand that wraps around to serve as a folio cover, too. Attached to an iPad by magnets, the case also features a small lip for placing an iPad and a smartphone vertically next to each other. Currently, the Logitech Flip Folio can be ordered for $159.99 for 11-inch tablets or $179.99 for 13-inch options. While Graphite and Midnight Black shipments should start before the end of the month, Logitech will not be expanding the colour options shown in its promotional video until September.
