Lenovo has announced a new keyboard and mouse combo at CES 2026. Expected to be released in March 2026, the Lenovo 900 Wireless Low-Profile Mechanical Keyboard and Mouse feature a translucent design.
While Lenovo says it has a translucent design, you actually can't see the insides of the keyboard from the top or from underneath, as both the faceplate and bottom case are opaque. However, it is the mid-frame that is made from a translucent material, allowing you to see the switches from the sides.
The mouse is no different, either. Its body is made from a see-through material, but you can't see any components when looking at it from the top view or from the bottom. However, when you view it from the side, you can see some of the bits inside it.
The Lenovo 900 Wireless Low-Profile Mechanical Keyboard is an island-style keyboard but lacks a numeric keypad. Lenovo says the keyboard features its custom 4-point mechanical switch for smooth, stable typing. It charges via a USB-C port on the front but there's no info on the battery life.
Both the keyboard and mouse have support for multi-device pairing and can be connected to up to three devices at a time using a 2.4GHz unified dongle and Bluetooth (dual profiles). A dedicated row of keys above the page buttons on the keyboard allows users to switch between connected devices. The mouse, on the other hand, has a button underneath that you can use to cycle through the connected devices. The underside is also where the USB-C port for charging the mouse is located.
The Lenovo 900 Wireless Low-Profile Mechanical Keyboard will cost $129.99, while the mouse will sell for $49.99 when they launch later this quarter. They both will be available in Thunder Grey and Cloud Grey. Let's hope they don't get delayed like the self-charging keyboard it announced at CES 2025.
