HP has added two new mice to its lineup of ergonomic computer accessories. The new mice are the HP Tilt Ergonomic Mouse 720M and the HP Ultra-Fast Scroll Wireless Mouse 780M.
HP Tilt Ergonomic Mouse 720M
The HP Tilt Ergonomic Mouse 720M isn't technically new, as it seems it already launched in multiple regions a few months ago. In addition, the mouse also seems to be just a pink version of the HP Tilt Ergonomic Mouse 725M, which is black.
Nevertheless, the HP Tilt Ergonomic Mouse 720M has a semi-vertical tilt for a natural hand resting position. Made from 60% post-consumer recycled materials, the mouse has a tilt wheel for vertical and horizontal scrolling, up to 6,000 dpi, and six programmable buttons.
The HP Tilt Ergonomic Mouse 720M doesn't have a battery; instead, it has a supercapacitor like the Lenovo Self-Charging Bluetooth keyboard (and if fact, like HP's own accessories launched exactly a year ago). The mouse charges in just 3 minutes and lasts up to a month before needing to be recharged. Connection is via Bluetooth or an HP unifying dongle. HP says it is compatible with devices running Windows 10/11, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, and iOS.
The HP Tilt Ergonomic Mouse 720M is available now for $59.99.
HP Ultra-Fast Scroll Wireless Mouse 780M
The HP Ultra-Fast Scroll Wireless Mouse 780M is also made from 60% post-consumer recycled materials and has the same soft-touch coating as the HP Tilt Ergonomic Mouse 720M. However, it comes in black, and its design seems to have been inspired by the Logitech MX Master 3S (available on Amazon for $97.01).
The mouse has two metal scroll wheels, six programmable buttons, and also has a supercapacitor instead of a battery. Charging takes just three minutes via the USB-C port on the front.
It can be connected to three devices simultaneously using a unifying dongle and Bluetooth. Users will be able to cycle through connected devices using a button underneath the mouse.
The HP Ultra-Fast Scroll Wireless Mouse 780M is available starting today for $79.99.
