Earlier today, Evan Blass revealed the first image of a new Lenovo concept laptop. Building on the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 from earlier this year, the leaker claims that Lenovo will showcase the concept during IFA 2025 next week as Project Pivo. Shortly afterwards, Blass also revealed more details about a new Edge 60-branded smartphone and Lenovo's more premium alternative to the Legion Go S (curr. $649 on Amazon).
Now, the same leaker has published the names of photos of the ThinkPad laptops that Lenovo will be bringing to IFA 2025 as well. Currently, Blass reports that the following ThinkPad laptops will be on show between September 5 and September 9 in Berlin:
- ThinkPad P1 Gen 8
- ThinkPad P14s Gen 6
- ThinkPad P16s Gen 4
- ThinkPad P16 Gen 3
- ThinkPad P16v Gen 3
- ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition 14 Glacier White
- ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition 15 Glacier White
It is worth stressing that not all of these are strictly speaking new. For instance, Lenovo released Glacier White versions of the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition last month in China, albeit under the banner 'Moonlight White'. Moreover, Lenovo Japan teased the rest of that list at the end of July, a screenshot of which we have embedded below.
Nonetheless, Blass' leak indicates that the ThinkPad P1 Gen 8, ThinkPad P14s Gen 6, ThinkPad P16s Gen 4, ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 and ThinkPad P16v Gen 3 will all receive global releases with Intel processors. Incidentally, we have already reviewed the AMD version of the ThinkPad P14s Gen 6. Please see the screenshot and embedded tweets below for more details.
