A leaked memo has revealed details about Nothing's 2025 plans and it confirms the arrival of a highly-anticipated device as well as the time frame for its launch.
Posted on X by Evan Blass (@evleaks), the memo sent to all Nothing staff and written by the CEO, Carl Pei, highlights the company's growth in the past few years since it came into existence. However, the most interesting part is the reconfirmation of the launch of the Nothing Phone (3).
According to the memo, the Nothing Phone (3) will be a flagship smartphone, unlike the Nothing Phone (2a) (curr. available on Amazon for $349.99) and Nothing Phone (2a) Plus released in 2024. The upcoming smartphone is reported to bring breakthrough innovations in user interface
. There will also be a heavy focus on AI and how it can help make life easier for users.
No specific details were mentioned about its features but the Nothing Phone (3) seems to be set for launch this quarter as the memo says they have a landmark smartphone launch

Nothing also revealed in the memo that its workforce has gotten bigger, specifically its software and camera teams which have expanded by almost 50%. This should result in better products and greater innovation

Alongside the Nothing Phone (3), Nothing is also expected to announce a Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Plus, both of which are reported to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips instead of MediaTek Dimensity processors like their predecessors. It is also expected that the London-based tech company will announce new accessories such as earbuds and smartwatches under the Nothing and CMF brands.
