The smartwatch market is abundant these days, with Huawei recently releasing the Watch Ultimate as a more premium alternative to the Watch 3 and Watch GT 3 series. Some modern smartwatches can read blood pressure levels too, such as the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro. However, these must be calibrated with a conventional blood pressure cuff, which will prevent most people from using the technology outside of a medical setting.
Last year, Huawei announced the Watch D, which can read blood pressure levels without requiring calibration from an external device. Additionally, there is the BP Doctor MED, although it appears that YHE has not started shipping its smartwatch yet. In comparison, the Watch D is freely purchasable in countries where it is available. Regardless, both smartwatches are some of the only ones that are medically certified to read blood pressure levels.
According to @RODENT950, Huawei is preparing to release a second-generation model. Unfortunately, the leaker has not revealed any second-generation Watch D details for now, such as how Huawei will distinguish it from the original Watch D. However, @RODENT950 claims that the smartwatch will launch as the Watch D2. Supposedly, Huawei plans to bring the Watch D2 to market later this year, but it is unclear when exactly yet.
