Huawei has returned to the TalkBand series, three years after releasing the TalkBand B6. The overall concept remains the same, though. By default, the TalkBand B7 can be worn as a regular smartwatch. However, a button push allows the screen to detach from the body, revealing a hidden earpiece. As such, the TalkBand B7 can double as a compact headset for taking calls or as a single Bluetooth earbud.
In other words, the TalkBand B7 combines the recent Watch Buds into one device. Regardless of how you use it, the TalkBand B7 has a 1.53-inch AMOLED display with a 460 x 188-pixel resolution and a 326 PPI. For reference, the TalkBand B7 measures 58.3 x 22.8 x 12.5 mm and weighs 30 g without a strap attached.
Additionally, the TalkBand B7 is IP57 certified and should last two days between charges. Moreover, Huawei states that the TalkBand B7 is compatible with devices running Android 7.0, HarmonyOS 2 or iOS 9.0 and newer. The TalkBand B7 can also monitor blood oxygen and heart rate levels, although it lacks GPS and NFC modules. The TalkBand B7 is available in China for CNY 999 (~US$145) with a silicone strap. Alternatively, the company offers the device with a leather strap for CNY 1,199 (~US$174). Huawei has not commented on a global release yet, though.
