Huawei Vision S: 55-inch and 65-inch models launch in Europe with 120 Hz refresh rates at bargain prices
Huawei has finally begun selling the Vision S series in Europe, albeit only in Spain for the time being. For context, Huawei announced Vision S TVs almost a year ago, but it took until the summer for the Vision S 55" and Vision S 65" to reach other markets like the Philippines. Unsurprisingly, Huawei has not updated either TV for their European release, although it offers both at budget prices considering their features.
Specifically, Huawei has listed the Vision S 55" for €399, discounted from €799. Likewise, the 65-inch model comes in at €599, reduced from €999. According to Huawei's Spanish website, both TVs will remain at their €400 discounted rates until March 27. Incidentally, Huawei provides wall mounting and finance services, which you can find more about on the Vision S product page.
To recap, both Vision S TVs have 4K panels that also operate at 120 Hz. Unfortunately, Huawei equips the pair with three HDMI 2.0 ports, making them incompatible with the high refresh modes that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X offer. Additionally, the TVs have one USB 3.0 Type-A port, six microphones, a 13 MP webcam and four speakers. Moreover, the panels themselves deliver 5,000:1 contrast ratios, 350 cd/m² peak luminosity and 92% DCI-P3 colour space coverage.
Furthermore, the Vision S 55" and Vision S 65" run on HarmonyOS 2, Huawei's in-house operating system. It remains to be seen whether either TV will launch in North America, the UK, or other European markets like Germany.
