Withings adds Sleep Diary feature to its Sleep Tracking Mat
Withings has announced a Sleep Diary feature for its Sleep Tracking Mat or Sleep Analyzer. The company said it had developed the new feature to enhance the mat's collected data and improve your understanding of your sleep quality.
The smart sleep tracker, which you place under your mattress, can monitor your sleep quality by measuring your sleep duration, latency and efficiency. The gadget can also track how much time you spend snoring and your average resting heart rate.
Sleep Diary, available through the Withings Health Mate app, has been designed to tackle the difficulties in keeping a regular, accurate log of your sleep. The feature asks you questions about your sleep, then combines your observations with the biometric data collected by the mat.
According to Withings, the survey is based on medical questionnaires such as the Epworth Sleepiness Scale and the STOP-Bang Questionnaire. The collated data can be viewed in the app dashboard or exported to a PDF for you to share with a medical professional. You can buy the Sleep Tracking Mat from Withings for ~US$99 (~€90).
