Honor has unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone, the Honor X6c, globally. Honor’s latest budget-range smartphone brings a solid list of specifications over the last-generation model, the Honor X6b. More specifically, the battery capacity of the smartphone is now bigger than before, and it also comes with a dedicated AI button.
The Honor X6c boasts a 5,300 mAh battery (up from the 5,200 mAh of the X6b), which sits within a 163.95 x 75.6 x 8.39 mm (6.45 x 2.97 x 0.33 inches) body that weighs around 199 grams (0.43 lbs). Speaking about charging, the device can recharge at up to 35 W (Ugreen Nexode 25K power bank curr. at $74.99 on Amazon). Unlike its predecessor, it is IP64 certified, which means that the phone isn’t completely waterproof.
Furthermore, there are no changes in the camera department. It retains the same 50 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture. The main unit is complemented by an auxiliary lens just to fill the gap. On the front, there’s a 5 MP shooter for selfies and video chats. Under the hood, the affordable smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset paired with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage with room for storage expansion up to 1 TB via micro-SD card.
The Honor X6c sports a 6.61-inch LCD display that outputs at a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. As far as the software side is concerned, the smartphone runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9 out of the box, and there’s no word on software support from the brand.
Available in ocean cyan, moonlight white, and midnight black colorways, the Honor X6c starts at RM 599 ($141). You can learn more about the device via Honor's official website.
